About the role
The Key Account Manager will report to the Sales Director and act as a primary driver of profitable growth for Energizer. You will build and deepen relationships with strategic customers, identify revenue opportunities, and coordinate cross‑functional initiatives to meet sales and margin targets.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute annual business plans that align customer and Energizer objectives.
- Monitor industry and competitor trends, adjust tactics, and lead response execution.
- Own the customer P&L, regularly reviewing performance against net‑sales and gross‑margin targets.
- Lead negotiations and order management at both local and central levels, maximizing ROI and margins.
- Establish strategic business plans with customers and ensure compliance with local and national agreements.
- Cultivate high‑level relationships to position Energizer as a best‑in‑class supplier.
- Provide market insights, category‑management proposals, and accurate forecasts to the organization.
- Plan, execute, and evaluate promotional activities, recommending improvements for future investments.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Category Management, FSF, etc.) to exceed customer needs and coach local stakeholders.
Required profile
- Proven experience managing key accounts, customer P&L, and complex negotiations.
- Ability to develop and implement strategic business plans.
- Strong analytical mindset for reviewing sales, margin, and forecast data.
- Excellent cross‑functional collaboration skills with internal and external partners.
