Key Account Manager – South Italy

About the role

Celltrion Healthcare Italy, part of the Celltrion Group, which supplies biosimilar and innovative biopharmaceuticals to about 110 countries, is looking for a highly motivated Pharma Key Account Manager with a scientific background and previous experience in a similar role. The position covers South Italy and sits within the Sales Department. Candidates should have up to 8 years of experience, with attitude being the main deciding factor.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Commercial Lead and Tender Manager in gathering and clarifying information needed for tenders.
• Build and maintain, together with Commercial and Medical teams, a clear map of regional peculiarities for drug access and distribution.
• Ensure optimal local access to Celltrion products, managing procedures such as formulary inclusion and tender inclusion so products can be prescribed freely in the assigned area.
• Design, with the Commercial Lead and Medical Liaisons, a map of biologics-prescribing physicians.
• Build relationships with all stakeholders affecting access and distribution, including administrative staff, pharmacists and physicians.
• Monitor competitors' policies and commercial actions, report on them and propose countermeasures.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable local rules and regulations in line with the law and code of conduct.

Required profile

• Scientific degree in medicine, pharmacy, biology or equivalent.
• Fluency in English.
• Previous experience in a regional commercial pharma role (Product Specialist, Key Account Manager, Area Manager, Regional Access Manager).
• Previous experience in biosimilars.
• Deep knowledge of the processes and stakeholders in the assigned region(s).
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills, with a result-oriented attitude.
• Availability to travel more than 50% of the time, including overnight stays.
• Experience in product launches, rheumatology and/or gastroenterology is preferred but not mandatory.
