About the role

Alpitronic is looking for a motivated Mechanical Designer to join its fast‑growing e‑mobility team. You will work on the development and optimisation of cutting‑edge mechanical products for charging infrastructure, collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams and external suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Actively participate in the development and optimisation of mechanical products.
• Develop mechanical concepts and design components such as power‑electronics housings, Hypercharger parts and conductive elements.
• Create detailed manufacturing drawings and material bills of materials.
• Evaluate prototypes and provide feedback for improvement.
• Coordinate technically with suppliers to ensure manufacturing‑ready designs.

Required profile

• Technical secondary school or university degree in electrical engineering or mechanics.
• Proven experience in mechanical design.
• Familiarity with various manufacturing processes (sheet‑metal forming, injection moulding, machining) is a plus.
• Proficiency in 3D‑CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
• Good command of English, German and/or Italian.
