Leather Purchasing Manager

About the role

The Leather Purchasing Manager will lead the sourcing strategy for leather, fabrics, metallic accessories and related products, ensuring optimal contractual terms and a robust supplier base. This role balances cost efficiency with the brand’s quality, sustainability and innovation goals.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the sourcing strategy for the assigned material category.
• Negotiate framework contracts, pricing and commercial conditions with suppliers.
• Assess and monitor supplier production capacity, quality capabilities and compliance.
• Identify new sourcing opportunities aligned with brand requirements.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Planning, Compliance and Quality teams to ensure alignment.
• Analyse market trends, supply‑chain risks and conduct regular supplier performance reviews.
• Ensure timely purchasing of materials for new collections.

Required profile

• Degree in Economics, Management Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic purchasing, preferably in fashion or luxury.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Strategic vision with a focus on sustainability and innovation.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Power BI or equivalent data‑visualisation tools.

What we offer

• Gross annual salary of at least €55,000.
