Legal Counsel

About the role

We are looking for a Legal Counsel to join Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions in Vimercate, Italy. The role sits at the heart of the commercial function, supporting sales, services and finance teams across Italy, Spain and the wider European region. You will act as a trusted advisor, ensuring contracts are legally sound and commercially balanced.

Key responsibilities

• Support negotiation and drafting of customer contracts, including complex multi‑jurisdictional agreements.
• Collaborate with Sales and Services teams in Italy and Spain to structure deals and drive contract closure.
• Review, negotiate and advise on commercial agreements to ensure they are practical, deliverable and aligned with business objectives.
• Maintain consistent use of standard contracts and manage the contract lifecycle from negotiation through execution, renewal and termination.
• Work with European Legal teams to obtain necessary local and EU approvals and navigate differing regulatory environments.
• Provide commercial‑focused legal guidance to internal stakeholders across the organization.

Required profile

• Legal background with experience in commercial contract negotiation and management.
• Proven ability to work closely with sales, services and finance functions.
• Familiarity with Italian and Spanish legal and regulatory frameworks.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to influence business decisions.
