Lighting Designer

About the role

We are looking for a Lighting Designer to join our Milan‑based studio. The role involves creating innovative lighting concepts for architectural and interior projects, collaborating closely with clients, architects and engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive lighting designs and plans that meet functional and aesthetic goals.
• Select and specify appropriate lighting fixtures and control systems.
• Produce detailed drawings and visualisations using AutoCAD and Dialux.
• Ensure designs comply with local regulations, standards and sustainability criteria.
• Coordinate with project teams to integrate lighting solutions into overall designs.

Required profile

• Fluent in Italian (native) and English.
• Degree in Architecture, Interior Design or a Master in Lighting Design.
• Valid B‑category driving licence and personal vehicle.
• Reliability, flexibility and adaptability to project schedules.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with Dialux for lighting calculations.
• Competence in Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator for visual presentations.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
