Logistics Coordinator

About the role

The Logistics Coordinator will support the Supply Chain Team in managing all logistics activities related to rig operations, ensuring timely and compliant movement of goods.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound shipments to guarantee on‑time delivery.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers and suppliers to manage transport schedules and optimise freight costs.
• Prepare shipping and customs documentation such as invoices, manifests and declarations.
• Ensure compliance with transport, customs and import/export regulations.
• Oversee bonded warehouse operations, including inventory accuracy, stock reconciliation and customs record management.
• Close material and service purchase orders in line with Supply Chain procedures.
• Support supervision of external staff at the Ravenna Yard and execute logistics operations according to the Shelf Drilling Supply Chain Manual.
• Provide regular logistics and operational updates to the Supply Chain Manager and promote safe working practices in line with QHSE policies.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum six months of experience in logistics or supply‑chain operations.
• Basic knowledge of shipping documentation and logistics processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Basic to intermediate written and verbal English.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
