Logistics Operations Specialist

About the role

The Logistics Operations Specialist will lead the selection, onboarding, and performance management of third‑party service providers. You will work closely with internal logistics, procurement, and finance teams to ensure seamless operations and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies for service provider selection, onboarding, and ongoing performance management.
• Negotiate and manage contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and key performance indicators (KPIs) with providers.
• Monitor and analyze provider performance against KPIs and SLAs, identifying improvement areas and implementing corrective actions.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and business meetings to foster strong relationships.
• Resolve operational issues and disputes with providers promptly.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with logistics, procurement, and finance teams for integrated operations.
• Drive cost‑optimization initiatives without compromising service quality.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements.
• Prepare and present performance and operational metric reports to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field (Master's preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in service provider management, logistics operations, or supply chain management, preferably in e‑commerce or retail.
• Proven track record of managing and optimizing third‑party relationships.
• Strong understanding of logistics, warehousing, transportation, and last‑mile delivery.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and make data‑driven decisions.
