Logistics Planning Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Logistics Planning Specialist to manage batch planning, courier coordination and shipping documentation for our manufacturing sites. The role ensures timely, accurate logistics execution while complying with transport regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Build accurate batch plans in the system and optimise logistics options.
• Book and confirm courier services, send pre‑alerts, track handovers and ensure GPS devices are active for each shipment.
• Prepare and verify shipping documentation such as Dangerous Goods Declarations, Air Waybills, Bills of Lading and Pro‑forma Invoices.
• Coordinate with manufacturing sites, couriers and internal teams, providing clear handoffs and status updates.
• Identify risks, execute mitigation protocols and manage issue resolution through playbooks and recovery actions.

Required profile

• Technical degree.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a supply‑chain function within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.
• Excellent time‑management, adaptability and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Power Query proficiency.
• IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) certification (desirable).
