M&A Internship – Corporate & Institutional Banking

About the role

The M&A European Advisory Team is looking for a motivated intern to support corporate and financial sponsor clients in Italy. You will work on research, company profiling, financial analysis and valuation modelling, gaining exposure to high‑profile merger and acquisition transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct research and gather information on target companies and market trends.
• Prepare company profiles and presentation materials for internal and client use.
• Perform financial analysis and build financial models.
• Apply valuation techniques to support deal assessment.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in economics or management engineering with a finance specialization.
• Strong ethical standards, teamwork orientation, analytical mindset and proactive problem‑solving attitude.
• Hardworking with a strong desire to achieve results.
• Previous internship experience in investment banking, M&A or private equity is a plus.
