M&A Mid-Market Analyst – Milan

About the role

Deutsche Bank is looking for a motivated M&A Mid‑Market Analyst to join its Corporate Advisory team in Milan. The analyst will support the execution of merger‑and‑acquisition transactions for mid‑size Italian companies, working closely with senior bankers and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in day‑to‑day transaction execution and preparation of pitch materials.
• Draft presentations, information memoranda and other marketing documents.
• Build and maintain financial models, including DCF and LBO analyses, and perform valuation using trading and transaction comparables.
• Conduct market and industry research to support deal origination.
• Support the execution team in all aspects of deal marketing and closing.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in finance, business administration or engineering.
• Fluency in English; Italian is a plus.
• At least one year of full‑time analyst experience in corporate finance, investment banking or an elite boutique.
• Strong analytical, quantitative and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Bloomberg terminal for market data.
• FactSet for company and transaction data.
