Machining Support Operator

About the role

Westinghouse is seeking a Machining Support Operator to assist machining operations at its Monfalcone site. You will work under the Metal Works Manager, handling and positioning components for various machine tools in a fast‑paced production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Load, unload, position and align components on machine tools.
• Perform deburring and edge‑breaking activities.
• Protect components from damage, deformation or deterioration.
• Apply traceability information accurately.
• Follow company safety, quality, risk and security procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a fitter, mechanical assembler or machine operator.
• Willingness to work three rotating shifts (day, swing, night) from Monday to Friday.
• Basic proficiency in Italian and English (minimum B1 level).

• Loading and unloading components on machine tools.
• Component positioning and alignment.
• Deburring.
• Edge‑breaking.
• Traceability handling.
