Maintenance Operator (Mechanical/Electrical)

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Operator with both mechanical and electrical expertise to ensure the continuous operation of production equipment across several sites in Italy. The role involves preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis and corrective actions to minimise downtime and support production targets.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with production teams to guarantee full machine operability.
• Perform diagnostic tests using appropriate instrumentation to assess machine status.
• Plan and optimise maintenance tasks in coordination with mechanical specialists.
• Support new project implementation by overseeing integration tests and follow‑up activities.
• Interpret electrical schematics, identify faults and execute electrical disconnections for mechanical interventions.
• Carry out minor electrical setups, calibrations and assist operators with machine start‑up.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records in the maintenance logbook.

Required profile

• High school diploma in a mechanical or electrical field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance with some exposure to electrical maintenance.
• Availability for day work and two shift patterns from Monday to Friday.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
