Maintenance Operator (Mechanical/Electrical)

About the role

The Maintenance Operator ensures that production machinery and equipment operate reliably by performing both mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks. Working across several sites in northern Italy, the role combines preventive work, fault diagnosis, and on‑call interventions to keep the plant running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with production teams to guarantee full machine operability.
• Conduct diagnostic tests using appropriate instrumentation to assess machine status.
• Plan and optimise maintenance phases in coordination with other mechanical specialists.
• Support new project implementation, overseeing integration tests and follow‑up activities.
• Interpret electrical schematics, identify main electrical faults, and perform necessary disconnections for mechanical work.
• Carry out minor electrical setups, calibrations, and assist operators with machine start‑up.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records in the maintenance logbook.

Required profile

• High‑school diploma in a mechanical or electrical field.
• 2‑3 years of mechanical maintenance experience with basic electrical maintenance exposure.
• Availability for day work and two shift patterns, Monday to Friday.
• Good communication, teamwork, and adaptability skills.
