Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

Donaldson is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a skilled technical team in a manufacturing environment. The role focuses on ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation of equipment while driving continuous improvement and preventive maintenance initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily activities of the maintenance team, providing timely support to production.
• Plan, schedule, and assign maintenance work based on priority, skill sets, and operational needs.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve preventive maintenance plans, procedures, and checklists.
• Manage emergencies, provide technical direction during equipment breakdowns, and resolve issues affecting productivity, safety, or quality.
• Collaborate with external vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure asset reliability and cost efficiency.
• Monitor maintenance budgets, evaluate repair cost estimates, and control spending.
• Maintain spare‑parts inventory and supplier relationships.
• Track maintenance activities, equipment performance, and KPIs to support data‑driven improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a technical diploma with relevant industrial maintenance experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a maintenance or supervisory role within manufacturing.
• Proven ability to lead technical maintenance teams.
• Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) or similar tool.
• Understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance methodologies.

Required skills

• CMMS (computerized maintenance management) proficiency.
• Industrial automation knowledge, preferably Siemens PLC platforms.
• Preventive maintenance planning.
• Corrective maintenance execution.
• English proficiency (written and spoken).
