Maintenance Worker – Railway Depot

About the role

Alstom is looking for a Maintenance Worker to join its depot in Arezzo, Italy. The role involves inspecting arriving trains, diagnosing faults and performing both preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure fleet availability and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Check the condition of trains upon arrival at the depot and identify any faults or malfunctions.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on train systems.
• Ensure the fleet meets safety and quality standards.
• Use certified tools appropriate for each intervention.
• Update the fault database with relevant information.
• Communicate daily status updates to the team.
• Follow health, safety and railway safety regulations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of service and passenger experience.

Required profile

• High school diploma, preferably a technical qualification in electrical, electronic, IT or mechanical fields.
• Approximately three years of maintenance experience, preferably in the railway sector.
• Good command of spoken and written Italian.
• Willingness to work in shifts and undertake short business trips.

Required skills

• Knowledge of electrical, electronic or mechanical maintenance procedures.
• ANSF (National Railway Safety Agency) certification is a plus for work on safety components.
