Manager, MCM Advertiser Development

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Manager to lead advertiser development for its Commerce Media team in Italy. The role focuses on sourcing merchant offers, managing the full sales funnel, and collaborating with global product partners to expand card‑linked and affiliate programs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Commerce Media advertiser and merchant sales across the region, from prospecting to closing deals.
• Align with local and global teams on pipeline opportunities and product roadmap.
• Identify regional gaps and develop strategies using direct sales, aggregator partnerships, or contractors.
• Onboard merchants, manage content, and maintain ongoing relationships, including performance reviews and billing.
• Develop and manage merchant aggregator partnerships, handling contracts and onboarding.
• Coordinate with other regions to unlock global merchant offer opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven business development experience in advertising, with a deep understanding of the industry.
• Expertise in card‑linked offers and affiliate marketing, with an established merchant network.
• Strong communication and commercial skills, able to build relationships at all levels.
• Experience in advertising sales, CLO, affiliate, or merchant loyalty marketing is preferred.
• Persistent, urgent approach to tasks and ability to manage multiple projects.
