Manufacturing Engineering Technician

About the role

Rockwell Automation is hiring a Manufacturing Engineering Technician in Artegna. The role supports production teams with technical support, process analysis and documentation, and works closely with Production, Planning, Quality and Engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide daily technical support to production teams and troubleshoot manufacturing problems, including root cause analysis.
• Perform time studies and work measurement analysis to set and maintain labor standards.
• Analyze routings, process flows and work content to find productivity improvements.
• Develop standard work instructions and manufacturing documentation, and monitor performance against labor standards.
• Help implement process improvements focused on safety, quality, delivery and productivity.
• Take part in Lean Manufacturing projects such as 5S, waste reduction and continuous improvement.
• Support installation, validation and maintenance of tools, fixtures and equipment, and new product introduction and manufacturing transfer.
• Train operators on new processes and work instructions, and help maintain master data, routings and documentation in ERP systems.

Required profile

• Technical diploma in Mechanical, Electronics, Automation, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in methods and time analysis, labor standards or industrial engineering activities.
• Ability to read technical drawings and manufacturing documentation.
• Basic English communication skills.

Required skills

• Problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and production data analysis.
• Preferred: electronics or electromechanical assembly experience, Lean Manufacturing and ERP (e.g. SAP) knowledge, familiarity with productivity analysis, and knowledge of MTM, MOST or other work measurement methods.
