Mechanical Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our product development team serving the beverage industry. You will work on complex customer projects, contributing to the design, analysis and optimisation of mechanical systems while ensuring risk mitigation and cost‑effective solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in customer and product development projects, delivering design, analysis and optimisation of beverage‑industry systems.
• Create predictive models using Six Sigma methodologies and perform risk analysis.
• Use calculation tools for structural, kinematic and fluid‑dynamic sizing and verification.
• Develop alternative designs, conduct preliminary functional tests and co‑design solutions with industrial‑engineering suppliers.
• Support supply‑chain activities by providing technical specifications and critical‑to‑quality information.
• Collaborate in project reviews, resolve non‑conformities and support the Customer Support Team with action plans.
• Participate in prototype validation, including visits to customer plants and coordination with the reliability department.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Design or Mechanical Engineering.
• Initial experience in an industrial environment is preferred.
• Proficiency with CAD tools, especially SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Good understanding of PLM/ERP systems (SAP) and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to apply technical drawing standards accurately.
• Basic knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Comfortable with MS Office and Outlook.
• Minimum B1 level in English for effective international collaboration.
