Mould Engineer – Injection Mould Development (EMEA)

About the role

As a Mould Engineer you will manage the technical sourcing and development of injection moulds, ensuring a smooth transition from product design to industrial manufacturing. The position is based at Aliaxis' production site in Casella, Italy, with regular travel to the Zola Predosa site and occasional trips across the EMEA region.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical input during product development to guarantee performance and manufacturability.
• Prepare technical specifications for mould sourcing and support Procurement in supplier selection.
• Lead the mould sourcing process, including technical reviews, design validation, quotation analysis, and supplier coordination.
• Review and approve mould designs, ensuring alignment with quality, performance, and cost objectives.
• Track project progress and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the EMEA region.

Required profile

• Proven experience in injection mould engineering and technical sourcing.
• Ability to collaborate with product development, procurement, manufacturing and external suppliers.
• Willingness to travel regularly between Italian sites and occasionally throughout the EMEA region.
