Night Concierge

About the role

The Night Concierge joins the Front Office team at The Gritti Palace, a Luxury Collection hotel in Venice. Reporting to the Head Concierge, you will be the first point of contact for guests arriving or staying overnight, delivering warm, personalized service throughout the night shift.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests with a friendly, professional demeanor, using their names whenever possible.
• Provide information on hotel facilities, local attractions, and arrange transportation, restaurant reservations, and other special requests.
• Handle guest concerns and service recovery following established procedures to ensure satisfaction.
• Monitor public areas for safety, comfort and well‑being of guests.
• Process check‑ins and check‑outs, verify reservations, IDs, payment, assign rooms and issue electronic keys.
• Sell available accommodations to walk‑in guests in line with rate guidelines.
• Assist guests with disabilities according to company policy.
• Ensure a smooth and courteous farewell at departure.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with a genuine hospitality mindset.
• Ability to anticipate guest needs and respond promptly.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling reservations and payments.
• Flexibility to work night shifts and handle a fast‑paced environment.
