Operations Associate (20/25 Hours)

About the role

The Operations Associate supports ALO’s retail studio in Rome, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day store operations and helping drive profitability. Working 20‑25 hours per week, you will collaborate closely with the Operations & Visual Manager and the Operations Lead to maintain inventory accuracy, visual standards, and an excellent guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Execute inventory management processes, investigate discrepancies and partner with the General Manager to resolve system gaps.
• Handle shipment receipt, reverse transfers, sales‑floor recovery, intra‑day replenishment and floor set updates.
• Maintain strong visual standards on the sales floor and support visual merchandising placement.
• Work with reporting, budgets, vendor relationships, technology and facilities to maximize operational efficiency.
• Ensure a safe, organized stockroom and uphold stockroom standards.
• Assist other store functions such as Sales & Service and Cashier when needed.

Required profile

• Prior experience in a client‑centric, sales or operational environment.
• High energy, enthusiastic attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
• Self‑motivated, results‑oriented and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift, push, carry up to 50 lb and perform typical retail floor activities.
