Operations Manager

About the role

As the Operations Manager for Glovo Italy, you will lead the Supply Excellence Team to deliver an outstanding customer experience in one of the company’s most strategic markets. You will combine analytical insight with strong leadership to drive operational efficiency, support rapid growth, and continuously raise service levels.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a high‑performing team of 5+ Operations analysts, fostering a culture of ownership and data‑driven execution.
• Own and monitor supply operational metrics, ensuring top‑tier service quality and delivery speed across Italy.
• Analyse operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies and implement impactful strategies at country and city levels.
• Design, roll out and optimise core operational processes that support fleet growth, partner satisfaction and profitability.
• Oversee courier supply health, guaranteeing availability, balance and compliance in both stable and high‑pressure environments.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Strategy Consulting or equivalent high‑impact environments.
• Proven track record of building, recruiting and developing high‑performing teams.
• Background in industrial engineering, supply chain management or strategy consulting (e.g., MBB) is a strong plus.
• Fluency in Italian and English.
