Operations / Supply Planner

About the role

ABB is looking for an Operations / Supply Planner to lead end‑to‑end planning for the ELSP Smart Power Division in Dalmine, Italy. You will coordinate engineering, production, supply chain and finance to ensure on‑time delivery and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the operations planning process and facilitate cross‑functional review meetings.
• Prepare and manage rough‑cut and detailed capacity planning, identifying constraints and driving solutions.
• Analyze workload and capacity to optimise resource utilisation.
• Manage work‑in‑progress (WIP) and inventory levels, supporting working‑capital improvement initiatives.
• Monitor production plans, identify root causes for deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Contribute to financial performance through ROK and AIM management and inventory control.
• Coordinate with material planners, providing guidance and backup as needed.
