Operations Team Leader

About the role

The Operations Team Leader will oversee daily production and packaging activities at our Castiglione delle Stiviere plant, ensuring that schedules, quality, safety and financial targets are met. You will lead a team of operators, foster collaboration across functions and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily production and packaging operations to achieve plant business results.
• Ensure compliance with production schedules, quality standards, EHS regulations and logistics requirements.
• Develop and empower teams through training, coaching and delegation.
• Implement continuous‑improvement programs such as FP&R initiatives.
• Handle absenteeism and performance issues in partnership with HR.
• Identify and execute cost‑reduction and margin‑improvement projects.
• Communicate and apply local supply‑chain strategies.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification.
• 2‑5 years of experience in a production environment.
• Strong understanding of business and financial performance.
• Proven ability to manage production, materials and services.

Required skills

• Lean Manufacturing / continuous improvement methodologies.
• EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) and quality management.
• Supply‑chain systems analysis.
