Operations Team Leader – Small Store

About the role

We are looking for an Operations Team Leader to oversee daily activities in a small IKEA store. You will ensure smooth fulfilment, customer relations and food services while maintaining a safe, organised environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily operations across fulfilment, customer relations and food, ensuring efficiency, safety and consistency.
• Execute routines and processes, keeping the store clean, organised and safe.
• Monitor performance, priorities and workload to maintain operational readiness and high service levels.
• Support and develop team members, clarifying roles and fostering collaboration.
• Take ownership of store-wide operational topics, stepping in as needed and seeking growth across the full store scope.

Required profile

• Proven experience coordinating operations and leading teams in fast‑paced environments such as retail, logistics or hospitality.
• Strong focus on execution, organisation and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage priorities, solve problems and adapt to change.
• Understanding of how operations impact customer experience and business results.
• Hands‑on approach with willingness to work on the floor alongside the team.
• Excellent communication skills to build trust and collaboration.
