Operator Assistant I – Coiled Tubing (Entry Level)

About the role

Halliburton is seeking motivated individuals to join our Coiled Tubing service team as Operator Assistant I. This entry‑level position provides hands‑on experience with equipment inspection, maintenance, and wellsite support while working under close supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Perform pre‑ and post‑job inspections of coiled tubing equipment.
• Execute preventative maintenance tasks and maintain support equipment such as pumps and flowback lines.
• Assist with cleanup, repair, and preparation of equipment for upcoming jobs.
• Support rigging up and down of service line equipment at wellsites when required.
• Complete mandatory training modules (essential math, safety, etc.) and follow internal competency processes.
• Promote safety, environmental awareness, and quality improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong reading comprehension and writing skills.
• Basic computer proficiency (preferred).
• Valid commercial driver’s licence for land operations.
• Willingness to learn safety and repair procedures under supervision.
