Operator Assistant I – Coiled Tubing

About the role

Halliburton is seeking motivated individuals to join our Coiled Tubing service team as Operator Assistant I. This entry‑level position provides hands‑on experience with PSL equipment, safety procedures, and field operations in the energy sector.

Key responsibilities

• Perform pre‑ and post‑job inspections of coiled tubing equipment.
• Execute preventative maintenance and support equipment upkeep, including pumps and flowback lines.
• Assist with cleanup, repair, and preparation of equipment for upcoming jobs.
• Support rigging up and down of service line equipment at wellsites under supervision.
• Complete required training modules such as essential math, safety, and Red Book courses.

Required profile

• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Reading comprehension and writing skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Valid commercial vehicle driving licence for land operations.
• Willingness to learn and follow strict safety and environmental procedures.
