Pharmacovigilance Specialist – Remote (Italy)

About the role

We are looking for a Pharmacovigilance Specialist to join our global safety team. The role is fully remote and based in Italy, supporting local compliance and safety communication for our products.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the Local Safety Officer and Medical Information Specialist in Italy, as required by local regulations.
• Communicate with health authorities and ensure compliance with local guidelines.
• Collect, process, and disseminate safety information, product quality complaints, and medical device incidents.
• Maintain and establish quality standards for local pharmacovigilance activities.
• Perform weekly monitoring of local literature and stay updated on national pharmacovigilance regulations.
• Participate in inspections, audits, and regulatory surveys.
• Handle medical information enquiries from patients and healthcare professionals.

Required profile

• Degree in Biology, Pharmacy, Medicine, or another life‑science discipline.
• Minimum two years of experience in pharmacovigilance.
• Fluent in both English and Italian.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an international team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience using pharmacovigilance databases.
