Physical and Health Teacher for EY and Primary

About the role

The International School of Bergamo is looking for an enthusiastic Physical and Health Education (PHE) teacher for Early Years (EY) and Primary classes. You will work in a multicultural environment, using flexible strategies to engage students from diverse language backgrounds.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver PHE lessons for EY and Primary students, aligning with the IB continuum and the school’s inquiry‑based approach.
• Develop and adapt curriculum materials that promote physical well‑being, health awareness, and international understanding.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support holistic development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate ICT tools into lessons and maintain high standards of safeguarding.

Required profile

• Proven experience teaching primary‑level classes.
• Passion for learning and ability to inspire students at all levels.
• Commitment to high academic and behavioural standards.
• Interest in constructivist teaching methods and nurturing the whole child.
