English Language & Literature Teacher (IB & IGCSE)

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic English Language and Literature Teacher to deliver the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP), IGCSE and IB Diploma (IBDP) curricula to our motivated middle‑ and high‑school students in Milan, starting in September 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging English language and literature lessons for MYP, IGCSE and IBDP levels.
• Foster critical thinking, creativity and multilingual dialogue within a diverse international classroom.
• Contribute to the school’s STEAM‑based learning environment and interdisciplinary projects.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum, share best practices and support student wellbeing.
• Maintain accurate records, report grades and participate in faculty meetings and professional development.

Required profile

• Recent experience teaching English to secondary students in MYP, IGCSE and/or IBDP.
• Passion for international education and ability to work in a multicultural setting.
• Creative, collaborative and adaptable mindset with strong organisational skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and willingness to undergo enhanced DBS/ICPC checks.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IB MYP, IGCSE and IB Diploma English curricula.
• Ability to design inquiry‑based, project‑oriented lessons.
• Proficiency in classroom management and assessment practices.
