Plant Manager

About the role

Our client, a global industrial group, is seeking an experienced Plant Manager for a profitable manufacturing site in the Bolzano area. This senior on‑site leader will take full operational ownership, bringing a structured, data‑driven approach to improve performance, transparency, and accountability.

Key responsibilities

• Assume complete operational leadership of the plant, overseeing production, maintenance, quality, planning, and supply chain.
• Re‑establish structure, control, and accountability across day‑to‑day operations.
• Drive performance using KPI dashboards, regular reviews, and transparent reporting.
• Ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations in line with group standards.
• Monitor and improve financial results, focusing on productivity, service, cost, and profitability.
• Identify inefficiencies and lead continuous‑improvement initiatives across processes, output, quality, and cost.
• Strengthen leadership standards and team accountability.
• Collaborate closely with regional, international, and commercial stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience as Plant Manager, Site Manager, Operations Manager, Production Manager, or Plant Director.
• Track record of turning around under‑managed environments with a data‑driven, KPI‑focused mindset.
• Strong ability to build structured routines, reporting discipline, and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Experience in a multinational, matrix‑structured organization.
• Willingness to relocate to the Bolzano area, with support considered for the right candidate.
