Power Systems Engineer

About the role

ABB is seeking a Power Systems Engineer to join a dynamic, hybrid‑working team. You will contribute to a variety of high‑impact projects for global clients, developing technical expertise and growing toward a recognized consulting specialist.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical input and leadership on complex power engineering projects.
• Collaborate with clients to translate business requirements into practical engineering solutions.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality, schedule, and budget expectations.
• Perform detailed power system analyses using industry‑leading methodologies and software tools.
• Prepare and present technical and non‑technical reports with clear recommendations.
• Attend remote client meetings, build trusted relationships, and manage expectations.
• Track project performance, report on client satisfaction, and mentor junior engineers.
• Support online training delivery where applicable.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in power system studies and complex electrical infrastructure projects.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work independently and adapt to evolving project needs.
• Desire to deepen technical expertise and progress toward a consulting specialist role.
