Process Engineer – AI & Machine Learning

About the role

As a Process Engineer you will design and optimise manufacturing processes for display and semiconductor technologies, focusing on AI‑driven image analysis and machine vision solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and integrate AI techniques for image analysis, defect detection, data modelling and signal processing in photonics applications.
• Design and implement software for machine‑vision and vision‑based inspection systems.
• Define experimental methods to evaluate performance such as detection precision, algorithm repeatability and sensitivity.
• Perform hands‑on testing and debugging of vision systems to validate algorithms and ensure reliability.

Required profile

• Degree in ICT, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Automation, Software Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or related field.
• Strong theoretical background in machine vision, image processing or software development.
• Willingness to travel (approximately 20% of the time).

Required skills

• Programming in C++.
• Programming in C# (other languages a bonus).
