Procurement Director – Battery Energy Storage Systems

About the role

Enfinity Global is seeking a Procurement Director to lead the strategic sourcing of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) for its utility‑scale renewable projects. The role will drive the acquisition of batteries, components and integrated solutions, ensuring cost‑effective, reliable and sustainable supply for a growing global pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for BESS equipment, components and long‑term service agreements aligned with project timelines and sustainability goals.
• Manage the full procurement cycle from market intelligence and RFP issuance through contract negotiation and award.
• Lead supplier qualification, benchmarking and performance monitoring for cost, quality, risk and innovation.
• Collaborate with engineering, project, operations and finance teams to forecast needs and integrate sourcing decisions.
• Apply a Total Cost of Ownership framework to optimise levelized cost of energy and maximise project returns.
• Build and maintain strategic partnerships with battery OEMs, integrators and technology innovators.

Required profile

• Proven experience in strategic procurement or category management within the renewable energy or energy‑storage sector.
• Strong commercial acumen and contract negotiation skills.
• Ability to work across global, cross‑functional teams and manage complex supplier relationships.
• Track record of delivering cost‑effective sourcing solutions that support project delivery.
