Procurement Director

About the role

We are seeking a Procurement Director to lead our global procurement function in a fast‑growing technology company. Reporting to the CFO, you will own the end‑to‑end procure‑to‑pay cycle across all entities and geographies, shaping strategy, governance and processes that balance speed, cost discipline and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full P2P cycle globally, from requisition intake and approval to PO issuance, receipt of goods/services and invoice matching.
• Coordinate with FP&A to ensure every purchase request aligns with approved budgets and forecasts.
• Lead supplier contracting in partnership with Legal, handling negotiations, contract drafting, execution, renewals and terminations.
• Administer and continuously improve Oracle NetSuite procurement modules, ensuring data integrity and user adoption.
• Define and enforce global procurement policies, approval matrices and internal controls.
• Build and maintain the vendor master, overseeing onboarding, due diligence, qualification, performance reviews and risk management.
• Drive spend analysis, category strategies and cost‑saving initiatives, reporting KPIs to the CFO.
• Partner with Engineering, IT and business stakeholders to forecast purchasing needs and support budgeting cycles.
• Lead, coach and develop a small team of procurement professionals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Engineering, Law or a related field.
• 10+ years of procurement experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in a tech or high‑growth environment.
• Proven hands‑on expertise with Oracle NetSuite covering the full AP cycle.
• Strong track record in supplier negotiation and complex technology contracts.
• Experience managing global, multi‑entity procurement with cross‑border suppliers.
• Fluency in English; Italian proficiency is a plus.
