Procurement Specialist – Global Procurement Team

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Procurement Specialist to join our Global Procurement team in Milan. Reporting to the Head of Procurement, you will manage sourcing activities, optimise procurement strategies, and support project delivery in a dynamic, international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and issue RFIs and RFQs.
• Analyse supplier offers (pricing, terms, lead time, scope, exclusions) and support negotiations.
• Manage end‑to‑end procurement processes, ensuring compliance during negotiation and contracting.
• Collaborate daily with Project Managers, Engineers, Site Managers and other project teams.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and align procurement strategies with business priorities.
• Monitor procurement budgets and promote cost optimisation.
• Define and track KPIs for performance, compliance, efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Identify and mitigate supply risks, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
• Maintain and update vendor lists through internal tools and vendor portals.
• Ensure compliance with HSE procedures and promote a safe working environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 4 years of procurement experience, preferably in engineering, energy or EPC/project‑based environments.
• Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken).
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proactive, results‑oriented mindset with high accountability.
• Willingness to travel up to 30 % of the time.
