Procurement Specialist

About the role

BSP Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Procurement Specialist to lead sourcing and purchasing activities for GMP‑impact materials and laboratory consumables. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure compliance with purchasing policies and GMP requirements while optimizing supplier performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end procure‑to‑pay processes for assigned categories, including supplier negotiation, order placement, and coordination with Finance.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies in collaboration with the Line Manager, ensuring alignment with GMP standards.
• Scout, evaluate, qualify, and maintain relationships with suppliers to optimize the supplier base.
• Conduct market analysis and cost assessments to identify alternative sources and best‑in‑class suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, framework agreements, delivery terms, and payment conditions.
• Monitor purchasing budgets, report activities, and track performance metrics.
• Drive initiatives to reduce Total Cost of Ownership and improve procurement performance.
• Collaborate with Legal and internal stakeholders for contract implementation and continuous process improvement.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Economics or a related technical field.
• Minimum 3 years of procurement experience in a complex, regulated organization.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Proactive, can‑do attitude with strong analytical capabilities.
