Production Manager

About the role

The Production Manager will lead the entire production process at the Castelguelfo plant, a specialist facility for plastic packaging used in the pharmaceutical industry. You will be responsible for delivering productivity, quality, efficiency and service targets while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure effective execution of production activities and achievement of performance targets.
• Drive plant re‑organisation initiatives based on Lean Manufacturing principles to optimise processes, reduce waste and boost employee engagement.
• Coordinate production, maintenance, quality, supply‑chain and other technical teams to meet operational objectives.
• Promote and enforce compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) regulations and support a strong safety culture.

Required profile

• 3‑4 years of experience as a Production Manager in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in plastics or pharmaceutical packaging is a plus.
• Fluent English language skills.
• Strong leadership, continuous‑improvement mindset and effective people‑management abilities.
• Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
