Project Manager – Innovation & Technical Solutions

About the role

ROCKWOOL Core Solutions is seeking a Project Manager to lead innovative product, system and service projects across Europe. Reporting to the Public Affairs & Innovation Manager, you will work with internal teams and external partners to turn ideas into market‑ready solutions that leverage the unique performance of stone wool.

Key responsibilities

• Translate approved ideas into business cases, including sales forecasts, cost reductions and improvement targets.
• Define project steps, milestones and Go/No‑Go gates for new developments and product optimisations.
• Collaborate with laboratories, suppliers and factories to test processes and generate technical documentation.
• Identify levers to boost technical performance and support the Product Manager in portfolio adjustments.
• Benchmark existing solutions, translate performance expectations into stone‑wool specifications, and interface with machine and industrial‑process suppliers.
• Own project deliverables and timelines in alignment with the Public Affairs & Innovation Manager.

Required profile

• Passionate about the building‑materials industry.
• 5+ years of experience in project management, including process and documentation handling.
• Strong knowledge of building physics.
• Pragmatic, creative and solution‑oriented mindset.
