Project Manager – Molecular Biology / Clinical Chemistry

About the role

Sentinel Diagnostics is seeking a Project Manager to lead development and industrialisation projects in the Molecular Biology and Clinical Chemistry areas. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams, ensure timelines and budgets are met, and act as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables and background.
• Create and maintain detailed project plans, schedules and budgets.
• Monitor progress, adjust plans as needed, and manage risks and issues.
• Allocate resources in collaboration with team managers.
• Communicate status, milestones and challenges to stakeholders.
• Organise and facilitate project meetings, record decisions and produce minutes, reports and presentations.
• Promote continuous improvement and adopt new project‑management tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology or a related scientific discipline.
• 2‑5 years of project‑management experience, preferably in IVD, medical device or pharmaceutical industries.
• Solid knowledge of Waterfall methodology; familiarity with Agile, Scrum or hybrid approaches is a plus.
• Understanding of IVD and medical‑device regulations and standards.
• Technical background in Molecular Biology, Clinical Chemistry, Immunochemistry or Mass Spectrometry.
• Professional proficiency in English.
