Project Manager – Molecular Biology/Clinical Chemistry

About the role

Sentinel Diagnostics is seeking a Project Manager to lead development and industrialisation projects in the Molecular Biology and Clinical Chemistry areas of In‑Vitro Diagnostics. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage timelines and budgets, and ensure regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables and background.
• Create and maintain detailed project plans and schedules.
• Monitor progress, adjust plans for scope, timeline and budget changes.
• Coordinate cross‑functional resources and support team managers in allocation.
• Track project budgets and enforce cost control.
• Identify, assess and mitigate risks and issues.
• Communicate status, milestones and challenges to internal and external stakeholders.
• Organise and facilitate meetings, document decisions and produce minutes, reports and presentations.
• Promote continuous improvement by introducing best practices and new project‑management tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology or related field.
• 2‑5 years of project‑management experience, preferably in IVD, medical‑device or pharmaceutical industries.
• Strong knowledge of Waterfall methodology; familiarity with Agile, Scrum or hybrid approaches is a plus.
• Understanding of IVD and medical‑device regulations and standards.
• Technical background in Molecular Biology, Clinical Chemistry, Immunochemistry or Mass Spectrometry.
• Professional proficiency in English.
