Quality Assurance Technician

About the role

Burberry is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to protect the brand’s high standards across its product lifecycle. You will work closely with vendors and factories, providing technical guidance to ensure right‑first‑time production and a superior customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with vendors and factories to deliver consistent Burberry quality standards.
• Lead pre‑production and handover meetings with Product Engineering teams to identify risks.
• Conduct in‑line and final inspections to verify compliance with specifications.
• Review non‑conformance data and develop sustainable corrective action plans.
• Assess manufacturing facilities and support continuous improvement of quality systems.
• Collaborate with sourcing, engineering and regional QA teams to resolve issues and strengthen processes.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of quality assurance principles in manufacturing, including inspection, testing and risk assessment.
• Experience working with external vendors and production partners in a collaborative, solutions‑focused manner.
• Clear communicator able to influence and build trust across diverse teams.
• Comfortable working autonomously while staying aligned with broader business priorities.
• Data‑driven decision‑making using quality metrics and reporting.
• Willingness to travel across production environments as needed.
