Quality Control Specialist

About the role

KIKO MILANO is seeking a Quality Control Specialist to join its Technical Department. Reporting to the Quality Control Coordinator, you will ensure that both bulk and finished cosmetic products meet functional and aesthetic standards.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate cosmetic bulk submissions for compliance.
• Plan, manage and execute statistical quality controls on finished goods and accessories.
• Manage supplier non‑compliances and drive corrective actions.
• Investigate customer complaints, perform root‑cause analysis and propose solutions.
• Support the QA team in handling customer quality issues.
• Maintain proper storage of standard samples and technical documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Chemistry or Engineering.
• 1–3 years of experience in cosmetic quality control.
• Fluency in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively and drive continuous improvement.

• Microsoft Excel

• SAP (plus)
• Statistical quality control methods
• Knowledge of primary and secondary packaging (glass, plastic, aluminium, paper)
• Use of common measurement tools
