Quality Engineer

About the role

The Quality Engineer will support product development and operations by ensuring that all products, processes and systems meet the highest quality standards. Reporting to the Quality Supervisor, you will work closely with cross‑functional teams to drive continuous improvement and compliance with industry regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures.
• Conduct regular audits, inspections and internal NCR reviews.
• Lead root‑cause analyses and manage corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Generate performance reports, monitor quality trends and support continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on quality standards and best practices.
• Participate in project planning to ensure clear definition and adherence to quality requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline.
• 3–4 years of experience in quality engineering or a similar role.
• Strong ability to read and interpret complex drawings and blueprints.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills in English and Italian.
• Attention to detail and ability to work both independently and within a team.

Required skills

• Quality management systems knowledge (ISO 9001).
• Root‑cause analysis tools: fishbone, 5W2H, 5 Whys, Pareto, 8D.
• Basic GD&T and Lean methodology.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
