Regional Health Manager (Occupational Medicine) – Italy

About the role

Join the Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) Global Medical and Health (GMH) team to lead occupational health excellence across Italy. As Regional Health Manager you will provide strategic direction, ensure compliance with local regulations, and act as the subject‑matter expert for all occupational health matters.

Key responsibilities

• Advise and oversee external Occupational Health service providers throughout Italy, guaranteeing high‑quality support and regulatory compliance.
• Serve as the primary occupational health expert for internal stakeholders and liaise with local authorities and health bodies.
• Monitor legislative changes, maintain up‑to‑date knowledge, and ensure alignment with Amazon policies and Italian health‑safety laws.
• Define, track, and report health‑related metrics to the WHS GMH leadership team.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate physical and psycho‑social workplace health risks, developing preventive programs to protect employee well‑being.

Required profile

• Medical degree with a specialization in Occupational Health.
• Professional proficiency in English (C1 CEFR) – written and spoken.
• Strong verbal communication abilities.
• Background in safety technology or project management is preferred.
