About the role

Turing, a leading AI research accelerator, is seeking experienced U.S. contract law professionals to help fine‑tune large language models. You will evaluate how AI systems reason about contractual issues, without needing prior AI experience.

Key responsibilities

• Review AI‑generated answers to contract law hypotheticals, covering formation, breach, UCC Article 2 disputes, and damages.
• Apply a structured legal rubric to assess issue spotting, accuracy of common‑law and UCC principles, and proper contract interpretation.
• Identify gaps in AI reasoning on consideration, conditions precedent, anticipatory repudiation, liquidated damages, and third‑party beneficiary rights.
• Provide detailed annotations and written feedback to improve model performance.
• Collaborate with researchers and project managers to align evaluation standards.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor from an accredited U.S. law school.
• Active or inactive bar admission.
• At least 3 years of U.S. legal practice in contract law, commercial transactions, or commercial litigation.
• Strong analytical and written communication skills.
• High ethical standards; interest in AI is a plus.
