Restaurant Supervisor

About the role

The Food & Drink Supervisor supports the management of all restaurant and bar outlets at Hilton Rome Eur La Lama, ensuring an exceptional guest experience while maintaining operational standards and budgetary controls.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of food and drink outlets, ensuring high service quality.
• Recruit, train, develop and schedule team members.
• Conduct performance appraisals and provide coaching.
• Handle guest queries promptly and professionally.
• Manage budgets, set departmental targets and monitor financial performance.
• Develop menus in collaboration with the Food & Drink team.
• Perform monthly stock takes and control inventory.
• Drive sales initiatives and incentivise staff to maximise revenue.
• Act as deputy for the Food & Drink manager when required.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, fire and security regulations.

Required profile

• Previous supervisory or management experience in food and beverage operations.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and positive attitude.
• Excellent communication and grooming standards.
• Flexibility to adapt to varying work situations.
• Willingness to develop team members and pursue continuous learning.

Required skills

• Knowledge of financial systems for budgeting, stock control and reporting.
