Sales Associate (Part-Time) - Via Roma, Florence

About the role

ALO is hiring a part-time Sales Associate for its Via Roma store in Florence. The Sales Associate helps achieve store sales goals by setting the standard of the ALO experience and brand mission, creating an authentic, organic experience of excellence for every guest through genuine connection, product education and sharing of the community and culture. The role is on-site.

Key responsibilities

• Drive and exceed sales goals by leading ALO's initiatives while optimizing productivity and efficiency
• Engage customers and keep the store friendly and easy to shop, building client relationships day to day
• Analyse reports with the leadership team to strategise, support action plans and highlight growth opportunities
• Ensure effective sales floor coverage and lead selling initiatives throughout the store
• Educate guests and staff on products, community and culture, and introduce the full ALO business model (Retail, Yoga, Café)
• Resolve client needs quickly and effectively, using company tools, incentives and strategies
• Protect the daily schedule set with the Store Leadership and assist in processing shipments, including visual merchandising and daily replenishment
• Follow front-of-house and back-of-house procedures and support Sales and Cashier as needed

Required profile

• Preferred prior experience in a client-centric, sales environment
• Passion for customer service and a self-motivated, team-oriented approach
• Ability to lift, push or carry up to 50 pounds, and to lift, bend, kneel, climb, crawl and twist safely, including climbing ladders
• Ability to stand and move for an entire shift
• Right to live and work in the country from the start of employment
• Availability must suit the business, including morning, evening and weekend shifts, and work from Black Friday through the end of the holiday season until early January
