Sales Development Intern (Italy)

About the role

As a Sales Development Intern at Agicap you will support the sales team in Italy by engaging qualified prospects and generating new business opportunities. The internship gives you a hands‑on introduction to outbound prospecting, cold‑calling and pipeline management in a fast‑growing SaaS company.

Key responsibilities

• Contact CEOs and CFOs of mid‑market companies to introduce Agicap’s cash‑flow management platform.
• Conduct outbound prospecting and cold‑calling activities remotely.
• Work closely with senior sales leaders to create and qualify new deals.
• Learn to manage a sales pipeline, prioritize accounts and distribute effort effectively.
• Report daily and weekly performance metrics to the sales team.
• Complete a one‑month onboarding program to acquire product knowledge and sales tools.

Required profile

• Master’s degree student seeking a curricular internship.
• Native or fluent Italian speaker with full professional proficiency in English.
• Strong curiosity about a sales or SaaS career.
• Excellent communication, relational intelligence and a competitive, “hunter” mindset.
• High rigor, organization and ability to handle large amounts of information.
• Enthusiastic team player.
